It's quite surprising that an English Intensive Program( also named English as Second Language course) in Canada can be so similar to any English classes I had in both middle school and high school in China. Teachers of the language program are teaching exactly the way as my Chinese teachers did: vocabulary quizs, listening tests, reading exercises etc. All these methods they use in class have no difference in general. Though it's true that I'm better adapted to these Chinese English teachers' strategies( as I first concerned), the ESL course is however being kind of boring to me. Imagine learning something years in only one way. Isn't it killing your ethusiasm and patient in some way? I do think so. However, I still need to stay in class in order to get myself a permission to regular courses in the university. Whatever, sky bless me.
P.S. I'm in the language lab doing listening exercises.
